RSS or Atom feed issue

    I'm trying to follow a blog and it says "An RSS or Atom feed could not be found for that blog". What am I doing wrong? The blog is 'http://www.simplythenest.com'

    That's a squarespace blog and your will have to enter a FEED URL not a blog URL. That's assuming the blog does have a feed. Contact the blogger and ask for the feed URL.

    Thanks so much for your help - I've never used this forum before (I'm very new to WordPress) and didn't expect such a quick reply. Afraid I'm still getting the same error message.

    The feed works in FF18. If you are using a Chrome browser then it does not have a built-in RSS feedreader so you need to get an extension for that. Here's the link for that extension https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/nlbjncdgjeocebhnmkbbbdekmmmcbfjd

    I'm learning a lot! The RSS feed is now up and running but does that mean I can't follow via the WordPress site?

    No. That's not what it means.
    Copy the URL http://www.simplythenest.com/journal/atom.xml
    Go here > http://wordpress.com/#!/read/edit/
    Paste the URL http://www.simplythenest.com/journal/atom.xml into the "enter a blog url" box and click "follow".
