Why does the title in the RSS widget link to my blog instead of the actual feed or the site where the feed is?
I find it strange when the title of a displayed external feed links back to the site you're already viewing...
The blog I need help with is ronnasfjarding.wordpress.com.
Will you please provide an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question?
See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/rss-widget/ and note the we bloggers enter the optional title. "Give the feed a title – Set the title displayed above the feed items."
@mmmmagnus Just a thought - could you have put in the wrong RSS widget? There are two.
The blog in question is https://ronnasfjarding.wordpress.com/ but due to the behaviour of the widget i don't have the widget active for the external feed. But I do use the RSS widget for displaying internal category feeds (didn't find any other way to display latest posts from specific categories) and would rather have them without the link in the title that also in this case goes to / (and without the RSS icon). If I could choose I would like the title to link to the category page I draw the feed from.
@timethief: I do know how to set the title, but I don't know how to set the link in the title. That's my problem. A good solution would be to have a title without a link, but that, as described above, doesn't seem to be possible.
@absurdoldbird: It is the RSS feed widget I want, not the RSS links widget. The main question here is how to display an external RSS feed with a title that links to the feed (or the site where the feed comes from), not the start page of my blog!
