Sandbox custom CSS columns overlap text

  1. Hello all,
    My WordPress.com blog is http://www.fat-nurse.com and I have the CSS upgrade.
    The layout is based on Sandbox with my custom CSS but it has come up that some people who read my blog are seeing the right sidebar/column overlap the content in the middle of the page;
    Here is an example, the one on the left being the problem and the one on the right is how I see it.
    I have mentioned to my readers to zoom out in their browsers but there must be a way for the content to go to 100% automatically without the user having to do anything - right? It shouldn't overlap like that.
    I would be grateful if anyone could tell me how to fix it, I can post my CSS if needed.
    Thanks,
    Devon xx

    The blog I need help with is fat-nurse.com.

  2. Sorry, was meant to include the example; http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/4302/desktoptu.jpg

  3. Try adding the code below to the bottom of your custom styles, adjust the pixel value if you need to:

    .entry-content {width:600px;}

  4. I do have that in my CSS with the width set to 800px which is perfect on my screen. Is there no way I can get the page to scale with different resolutions/browsers?

  5. Maybe try something like the line below. You need to take into account that not all users will have the same screen resolution as yourself. This one should work better for you.

    #content .entry-content {width:100%; min-width:400px;}

  6. That's fantastic, it works like a charm! Thank you x
