Hi.
When I try and insert a link to text on a blog post, the window comes up, but the page grey's out. I cannot enter anything on the page. Is this a common problem? Do I need to alter my settings?

Hi there- I think I am having the same problem as ajmunn (my wordpress.com blog is anniestreasuretrove.wordpress.com ) When I try to insert a link into the visual section the link bttn is greyed out, and when I physically try to do shift/alt/a as it says when I scroll over link, it lets me add link into box, but then never displays it in post/ page. Please help! thanks!
What browser and version are you using? Safari users are reporting problems this weekend.

The same has been happening to me as of late (timlloydphoto.wordpress.com). I've never had this problem before but now when i try and enter a link the screen greys out rendering the page unusable. For the record i'm using Safari browser.
Any ideas how to fix this?
First thing to try is to log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again. This has happened to me in the past and most times this fixes the issue.
Tried that but no joy for me. No other remedies? seems for the time being i'll just have to have a linkless blog.
Are you using the HTML editor or the Visual editor? Whichever one you're using, try using the other one and see if that solves it.
