Hello,
I do not know how I lost the search box. In the beginning was, now gone somewhere. Does anyone know how to restore it to its place (Chateau theme)?
Thanks for advice.
The blog I need help with is stomus.wordpress.com.

When you hide the site title text at appearance > header the search box is hidden also. To have the search box at the top, you have to activate the header text again.
The thing is, I don't think the search function searches pages, only posts, and you have all pages so not having it show is probably not a problem.
OK, I understand. Thank you, thesacredpath!
@ thesacredpath - it does search pages (in Chateau theme), I've just tried it! :)
@ stomus - if you can't get the default search box to work, you can always add it to your side panel as a widget.
Yes, I can see. I prefer search box of Chateau theme, and I don't like side panel on my site. Absurdoldbird - thanks for your response.
@stomus (sorry this response is late, I've been away from my blog for a while) - when I say 'side panel' I mean any area where you can put widgets. So, if you have a footer area that takes widgets, you can also put search there.
Hi absurdoldbird,
after all, I prefer the original place of search box at the Chateau Theme. Just I restored the missing box. Thanks for the post.
