I have seen "Other search terms" and "Unknown search terms" for months, maybe a year or more. Today, I am currently at 2 "unknowns". If it is a bug, I'd sure like it fixed. I can sometimes guess what they may have been looking for, since I do not have a busy site, but not always. The reason I never posted about this on the forum, is I thought it was related to privacy and possibly someone using the https link for Google or whatever search site and the info is not passed on to WordPress.

  11. Same here...started yesterday. I started a thread about 2 hours ago (without response) explaining my problem.

  12. We did have a glitch for about a day where search terms were marked as other or unknown, so you may still be seeing some unknown search terms in your stats from that stretch of time. However, new search terms going forward should appear as normal.

However, even though we fixed this glitch, it's likely you'll keep seeing some other or unknown search terms in your stats. Some search engines don’t reveal search terms for privacy reasons. That’s why we don’t always know which search terms were used by visitors who arrived at your site from a search engine. When we don’t know the search terms, we show them as “Unknown search terms."

  13. It seems that I'm still having a problem. So far today, of the 88 total search terms, 69 are "unknown". I'm going to guess that the usual number is less than 10% of my total, and the balance of search terms actually do make sense.

I actively use this feature everyday, so any help would be appreciated.

  14. I apologize for the additional reply, but as my numbers are growing today, I can see that my site hasn't been fixed as of yet.

As of this moment, I have 92 Total Searches consisting of 73 "other search terms", "17 unknown search terms" and 19 terms that I can see searches. The numbers don't add up.

  15. Hi socialeyesnyc, you can click on the link "other search terms" to view the full list of search terms used to access your site.

  16. Thanks do much?
