Search Widget Results

  1. I have a search box widget on my blog that I use extensively to search for past content (band names and song titles) so I know what I have played by who. Lately I enter a search term and I get results that show nowhere in the post that the results point to. This is becoming very frustrating as I now can't seem to rely on this widget working correctly! What is the problem and is there a solution. In the past it has worked wonderfully!

The blog I need help with is snojoradio.wordpress.com.

  2. Please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question.

  3. Thanks for the link. I tried searching for "mint". I had to click twice to get these results.

I do know that Staff have been working on the search function to improve it but don't know what stage they are at. When Staff reactivate the support link on Monday, September 19th (UTC) you could file a support ticket and describe what you are experiencing.

P.S. Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes. Then every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.
