   Hi, I use the Ocadia 1.1 theme, and tonight I noticed that the header/title for the Search widget is missing- it's as if the top third of the widget "box" is cut off. I tried moving the widget around in the sidebar, removing and then adding it, and even changing themes. However, this problem shows up in any theme that has a specified Search widget in the sidebar: Almost Spring, Benevolence, Banana Smoothie, etc.

   I also noticed that this problem isn't limited to my blog; it appears in quite a few random blogs that I found. Does anyone have any ideas as to why the widget header isn't showing?

   The appearance of the search box is the way the designer designed it to look and it does vary from theme to theme. BTW I tried yours and it "works" fine. I typed in "how to Start a Blog" and the article came up so I'm assuming your talking about aesthetics and not about functionality. It says "search" below the box so I guess the designer felt there was no need for it to say "search" above the box too. Maybe you prefer the appearance of the search box on the theme "Silver is the New Black". Is that what you're expressing?

   Sorry about that last sentence- I see why you were confused. Yes, I was talking about the appearance; as of yesterday the search box had a "Search" header above it, just like all of the other widgets. It's definitely changed since the last time I checked.

   Ahhh now I see the light - it was there and now it's gone, eh? Well that doesn't sound like anything that you adjust will change it. It sounds like feedback will have to be sent to determined what happened.

   Actually I've noticed that as well. When I installed widgets on my offsite blog and for my clients, I had to go back and edit it to display.

   How did you edit the widget to display the "header" I haven't been able to figure that one out. Also, any insight as to how to change the default button used?

   You don't. Please send in a feedback and point out to staff that this issue still exists. Please also copy a link to this thread so that they can see that the issue is still there.
