June 9, 2011 Seed thoughts from the Garden If you ask a gardener what they have learned about life from gardening they will reply — respect for Mother Nature and patience. Gardeners are natured based life-long learners. For gardens to thrive, the gardener must be attentive to the needs of individual plants and the natural growth cycle. In order to recognize what to provide and when to provide it he or she must draw on knowledge gained from past successes and failures.
