Selecting Featured Images for Modularity Lite Slideshow Feature

  1. I really like using Modularity Lite, and I generally like the slideshow feature. (my blog is pretty much just photos)

But I don't want the slideshow to display the same image as the first post down, and generally I'd like to restrict it to a small set of image. Though I am presented with the option to set an image as "featured" when I upload it, that selection doesn't seem to make any difference to the slideshow feature, and I can find not option to remove images from the "featured image" selection.

Is there some way to tell the slideshow feature which images I really want to show up?

The blog I need help with is dcstreetshots.com.

  2. The two ie. slideshow images and featured images are not connected in any way. A slideshow will display a set of images attached to a particular post or page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/

  3. The theme documentation says: "The standout feature of Modularity Lite is it’s beautiful home page slideshow powered by Featured Images" Is that note the case then?

  4. The Modularity Lite slideshow is designed as a teaser for your latest posts: it takes the first image from each one of the posts on your front page. Featured images in ML play a different role. See here for more:
