Self Hosting

    After you have already started your build using WordPress as a host can you transfer it to your self hosted server?

    I started my build and .com domain with the intention of using plugins but now I found out you can only do that with a self-host. Also if this is possible and someone could jot down a "step-by-step" it would be greatly appreciated!

    If this is not possible, besides a plugin is there any other way to add a store and a discussion forum to your website?

    WordPress.com blogs have many popular features from plugins built-in already. However as you found we do not support shopping carts or forums.
