Sendign only a link in a post

  1. I have a blog which contains information being sent to what I hope will be a large audience of a school’s alum. In creating the content, I am sending a copy of the content to the blog subscribers. That is, they open the email and see the content. I would like to send only a link to the subscribers. In this way, by looking at the blog title they have the option of reading the content, by following the link or deleting the email notifier, if they don’t want to read the content. Can this be done?
    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is bakersboyz.wordpress.com.

  2. No. If you wish to send only a link as your describe above then you will have to use email and do this on your own.

The alternative is to set your RSS Feed to summary (a brief excerpt & read more link) on this page > Settings > reading and then set up blog subscriptions.
