Serene theme - trying to align menu with header image

  1. I'm using Serene theme on this site: http://safayet.me

    I managed to replace the title with a logo/image, but now the menus and social icons are aligned with the top of the image.

    Can anyone help me to align the menus and social icons with the bottom edge of the logo? I've tried what I know without success. Also, is it possible to bring the page up somehow and eliminate the white space at the very top?

    Thank you in advance

    The blog I need help with is safayet.me.

  2. Hi there, http://safayet.me/ is a self-hosted WordPress installation using the software from WordPress.org, and the forum for self-hosted WordPress.org sites is at http://wordpress.org/support/ . These forums are for those hosted here at WordPress.com.

    I would suggest contacting your theme designer, or perhaps posting in the WordPress.org Themes and Templates forum.

    That said, I took a brief look at your site and offer the following as a starting point. It is one way to accomplish your desire.

    #top-menu {
    padding-top: 210px;
    }

    #et-social-icons {
    padding-top: 200px;
    }
