Sharing and like button

  1. For some odd reason WP doesn't show the sharing and like buttons, although I told the thing to do so. Anyone knows what I am doing wrong?

The blog I need help with is dasdanjammer.wordpress.com.

  2. Please click the title on any post or the comment link and you will find them at the end of the post. http://dasdanjammer.wordpress.com/2012/11/10/brand/

I can’t see the buttons on the front page.
Make sure to select “Front Page, Archive Pages, and Search Results” for “Show buttons on” setting. http://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/#troubleshooting

  3. Im truly sorry, but my dashboard is in Dutch. Where can I find the mentioned “Front Page, Archive Pages, and Search Results” for “Show buttons on” setting. “ in the setting menu. Reading, General??

  4. I don't speak Dutch. Do you think you can get help here? Nederlands (Dutch): http://nl.forums.wordpress.com

I'm having the same issue. I've made sure I selected "Front, Page, Archive Pages, etc..."

Is there a way to make the share buttons show up BEFORE somebody clicks on the comment?

The theme you are using is designed to display excerpts ie. beginning of post on the front page only. See here please for details http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/fresh-and-clean/ I think you want your visitors to click the post title and read the whole post on its own page, prior to clicking sharing buttons, but if you don't like the design you can choose another theme.

Thanks for the quick response. Is that the only way to make share links, the date, etc. appear on the front page with this theme?
