Side Bar Layout problem

    I am using the Twenty Eleven Theme and I have the homepage set to "Showcase Template"

    Below the main section the Side Bar item "Recent Posts" loads. I Don't want that to be there but I can't figure out why it is there in the first place. I don't even have recent posts active in my widgets.

    Please help, thanks.
