How can I create a sidebar of my own?

You can't create your own sidebar. We can't add functionality to themes here at wordpress.COM. You can add widgets to a sidebar, you can choose a theme with multiple sidebars, but you cannot create your own.
What are you wanting to do with the new sidebar?

My theme supports multi sidebars, but i can't create it of my own.
i wanna create a sidebar for live traffic stat . is it possible on some other themes. -
You mean sidebar items. If you've found the live stats gadget you prefer, you copy the code they provide (if its plain HTML, not javascript), then go to Appearance>Sidebar, add a Text widget, paste the code in it, Save.

Sorry, I meant go to Appearance > Widgets and add a Text widget to Sidebar.

Not strange at all - I had already warned you about this: we're not allowed to use javascript in wp.com blogs. You need to use the plain HTML version:
