I am so new at this. I don't seem to be able to activate an inactive sidebar. I feel I'm just going in circles and it's becoming frustrating! Can you help? I'm using the TwentyTwelve template and have been attempting to customize (the free stuff). The only thing I seem to have done so far was to upload a photo for my header. Thank you!

Thank you! Your link took me to a couple of areas I had not previously found. I think my sidebar was working all along. I really appreciate your quick response. I'm hoping my confidence will increase as I continue! I'm glad those of you with knowledge and experience are available. :)
