Sidebar on bottom of page

  1. My sidebar shows up on the bottom of the page and I have already tried the suggestions that are listed on the Support page. I even tried different layouts,but the same thing happens in all of them. I am using Internet Explorer. Is there anything I can do or does WordPress just not work in IE at the moment?

  2. Thank you for your reply, but that still makes no difference.

  3. On this site, http://stargirlwrites.wordpress.com/ , I've checked your site in Chrome, Safari and Firefox and the sidebar is not on the bottom of the page.

    What version of IE are you using?

  4. @thesacredpath
    There's no issue in IE8 so I suspect this blogger may be using IE7 which has not been supported since last year.

    @stargirlwrites
    If you are using IE9 in compatilibility mode that reduces it to rendering as if it's IE7 and IE7 is not supported. You can upgrade any browser version or downlaod another browser here.

  5. I am using IE9. I did not know about the compatibility mode, but that fixed it! Thank you all so much for your quick replies.

  6. Hooray! I love happy endings. :)
