Sidebar widget titles - how to change font?

  1. I'm using Twenty Eleven and the titles above some of my sidebar widgets just don't seem to fit - they're all tiny and gray and I'd like to know how to change them - size and color? I've done some CSS changes already with my widgets, but couldn't find any relevant posts about how to change the title fonts.

    The blog I need help with is sentientmouse.com.

  2. Hi,

    To change the size and colour of the titles in your sidebar widgets, you'll need to target the ".wf-active .widget-title" selector in your CSS:

    .wf-active .widget-title {<br /> font-size: <em>FONTSIZE</em>;<br /> font-color: <em>HEXVALUE</em>;<br /> }

    Replace the FONTSIZE and HEXVALUE with your desired font size and the hex value for the colour you'd like them to be.

    Hope that's clear. Let me know if you need any more help.

  3. One small adjustment, it should be "color" not "font-color".

  4. That worked like a charm! I even added text-align: center; which looks nice too :-)

    Thanks so much for giving me proper snippet to modify. I'm such a newb with CSS that I just couldn't find it.

    Thanks,
    Mark

  5. No problem Mark. Glad it helped. :)
