CAN I PLEASE have this theme to use for wordpress.org blog? It is not available in the fifty or so pages of themes that are there. Which is so weird because it is one of the best ones and I really want to customize it.
Can you make it available today b/c I want to launch my new blog tomorrow.
It's up to the theme designer whether they are offering the theme for download, not the wp.com team.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's available for download, it's mostly a case of googling for it and looking through the wp.org codex and various theme sites.
There's nothing on the theme here that suggests where it comes from so Googling is probably your best option.

It's a WP 1.2 style, that's why you can't find it in the theme collections. You can download the style here, and find Ryan Boren's instructions for getting 1.2 styles to work with later versions in this wordpress.org forum thread.
