Trying to add a twitter feed to my blog. I've had no sidebar contact displaying since I began this blog. But for some reason I can't figure out how to display my sidebar content (widgets) on my blog. Weird. Please help.

That is because of the way your version of Mystique is displaying. Check your Theme Options to see if a sidebar is even an option for you.
Mystique has six layout options: no sidebar, one sidebar left or right, two sidebars left and/or right. If you want a sidebar, you need to select one of the sidebar layouts (in Appearance > Theme Options, as raincoaster said).
