I was the user of Windows Live Space with the blog site of http://syan197112.spaces.live.com. After Microsoft shut down their space service, I became a member of WordPress but hadn't migrated the blogs immediately.
Could I import those blogs from the backup of Live Space now?
And could you do me a favour to redirect my previous space site to the new wordpress?
The blog I need help with is syanpanya.wordpress.com.
BTW, I got a package of Space blogs before the Live Space shut down.
I do not know if this is still possible but as you have the export files if may be so you can contact Staff and ask. Here’s the link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After you use the searchbox at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.
In regards to the redirect from your old Windows Live Spaces to WordPress.com, I believe only Windows Live can answer that question:
