Site Redirect- Will it redirect my posts as well?

  1. Before I purchase a Site Redirect (recently switched my wordpress.com site to self-hosted wordpress.org site), is each individual post redirected to the same post on the new site? I ask because I have a viral pin that directs to a specific post page on my .wordpress.com site and I don't want to lose the traffic from that pin (and I don't just want to redirect them to my new HOME page).

How does the process work? Is it just wordpress.com to my new domain home page, or do they match up the posts?

The blog I need help with is dollybigelow.wordpress.com.

  2. If the Permalinks on your .ORG site match the .COM Permalink structure then the Site Redirect will send the traffic to the proper Post - the redirect goes to the correct address but you need to make sure your Permalink structure is set to match your old blog here

Get help at WordPress.ORG to make sure you have changed the .ORG Permalinks to the proper format (the .ORG default did not used to match)
