Is it possible to create a sitemap for free WordPress blog? If yes then how? (Is it possible to add widgets, or it dépends on the theme used?)

  3. See this:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/sitemaps/

If you are talking about creating a sitemap to submit to search engines, WordPress.com has already done this for you. Scroll down that page a little bit until you see XML Sitemaps for Search Engines.

    Jeniffer,

    Thank you for your answer.
I am not sure what exactly page you are talking about.
I submitted the aezeraez.wordpress.com blog to Google and when I go to Google's Webmaster Tools I do not see any sitemaps submitted. I would like to know where exactly is my automatically submitted map - if possible.
Any info is very much appreciated.

  5. WordPress.com doesn't submit it, but it does create it for you for you to submit to search engines. Please read the support doc I linked to under XML Sitemaps for Search Engines

    Your sitemap is http://almeninformatique.wordpress.com/sitemap.xml

If you want to submit that to Google's Webmaster tools, then read this Support document: http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/

  8. I can't seem to get a sitemap.xml file either. When I type guyalbert.wordpress.com/sitemap.xml, I receive a message from WordPress indicating that "guyalbert.wordpress.com doesn’t exist. Do you want to register guyalbert.wordpress.com?" I searched through all the forums for solutions. I do notice that several members needed WordPress to fix a glitch in their system. Is it possible it's happening with my site? http://guyalbert.com

    Thanks!

The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

This site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/

The forum at WordPress.ORG is not connected to WordPress.COM so you will need to open an account at .ORG if you do not already have one. You may use the same email at WordPress.ORG as you do at WordPress.COM.

If you are asking for help with a WordPress.COM site then we need a link to that site to give you accurate help.
