Is it possible to purchase a subdomain from "wp.com", ie, "site.wp.com"? I'm talking about the shortened version specifically ie) site.wp.com !== site.wordpress.com.
The name I'm trying to purchase is already registered with site.wordpress.com, but site.wp.com takes me to wordpress.com, and I'd like to purchase a subdomain at site.wp.com specifically.
Any ideas?
No, not directly. I assume the answer is no since it's not explicitly stated, although it would be nice to know for sure.
No, we do not offer subdomains at wp.com, but you can register any available domain by adding it via Store -> Domains in your blog's Dashboard.
