   Greetings!

   My blog is http://sbjh.wordpress.com/ and I use the Coraline theme.

   I use the text editor because I'm visually impaired.

   I'm tired of having to type ampersand hash 39 semi-colon for the apostrophe and ampersand hash 34 semi-colon for straight double quotes.

   Is there a better way?

   Please enlighten me with your wisdom.

   Hey there,

   At this point in time, we don't offer the ability to disable smartquotes on WordPress.com. Using the HTML entity code, as you've done in your example, is the best way to work around this.
