   I understand that I can disable snap-shots by: going to Design > Extras, uncheck the box, and click Update Extras.

   My question is, will disabling snap-shots create new problems?

   The blog I need help with is dja70.wordpress.com.

   No. It's an optional "feature". Shutting it off will get rid of the pop-up without causing any other problems.
