Snap's footer area

I am thinking of purchasing the Snap theme and Custom Design package. Can the Snap theme have widgets added to the footer area? I would want to add my own social media images and link them to their proper urls, using html. I know that if nothing is specified for Snap's lower right social media images, they will not appear on the site, and that they cannot be moved. So, could I add my own? Thank you.

The blog I need help with is daniceseclecticblog.wordpress.com.

To add to the footer you must buy an annually renewable Custom Design upgrade and place the social networking links code in a text widget and then use CSS editing have the social networking links appear in the footer. See here for details on purchasing the annually renewable custom design upgrade so you can do the required CSS editing:

Thank you. I had already looked at those 2 places, and did not find the answer. I also tried previewing the Snap theme but without first purchasing the Custom Design pkg. it would not allow me to view the Appearance-widgets in my Dashboard to see if the footer area can have widgets added. I also looked at some sites using the Snap theme, and none had widgets added to the footer area. So, assuming that they cannot be added? Thank you.

There is no footer widget area on the theme in question. I already stated how one could have social networking icons appear in the theme footer using CSS editing above, but I apologize as what I posted was not clear. I'll tag this thread for a Staff response. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

    You're welcome.

  9. As mentioned before there is no footer widget area on the theme in question. The footer area can only be edited with CSS.

Once purchased you can post questions or suggest features at http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/snap . Note that we have a 30-day refund period in case you are not happy with your purchase.
