Recently a user named Whogopenguin claimed that Copyscape, an online "copyright," reported my blog for plagurism. He claims it's a mini-series I am copying from him.
First off, I would like to really say that this is odd. But I believe he targeted my blog just to get is shut down. Anyways, here is our small discussion (though he has yet to reply) :
Whogopenguin: A “mini series”? That was my idea, and it’s against the law to copy my website; I’m registered with Copyscape, that’s called plagiarism. Copyscape directed me here because it found copyright and here it is. Please come up with your own idea, as your website could be shut down by WordPress. I am now monitoring this site for more plagiarism, and Copyscape will bring me results every 12 hours.
Me: What do you MEAN? I have meant Youtube videos, and your site has no right to take that from anyone in the world.
Mini-series define as the following:
A miniseries or limited series is a common format for comic books, as it allows creators to tell a single specific story focusing on a character or set of characters, whether that story stands alone (Watchmen), or is heavily interlinked with other events in the same fictional universe (Civil War). Two to twelve issues is the usual length for a comic book miniseries (a story contained in a single issue is termed a one-shot). 52 is arguably the longest comic book miniseries to have been planned, as it was intended to last for fifty-two weekly issues. The alternative is an ongoing series.
I was also going to make mine a full series, and if you look at all of the sites with series, you cannot simply claim this.
[So, my question is, can my blog be closed down for something he is claiming? I had even forgotten about his little series anyway.]
