Someone else's blog is tied to my stats account

  1. Someone else's blog is tied to my stats. Is there a way to remove their blog from my stats?

The blog I need help with is www.rektproductions.com.

  2. http://www.rektproductions.com/ is not being hosted by WordPress.com. Is that the site you are referring to?

  3. I believe this is related to http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/site-stats-in-version-212-crashing-chrome?replies=7#post-1147197

  4. Yes. I'm referring to the stats tracking though. When I log in to WordPress.com and check my stats, it lists the small handfull of sites that I use Jetpack tracking on. Among those is a site in German that I don't own and haven't given permission to. It also lists an administrator that I didn't give permission to.

I don't know if he used a random API key and happened to hit mine or what. Is there a way I can remove him or his blog from my stat tracking on WordPress.com?

  5. Sorry, didn't catch your previous comment. It is unrelated to the previous post.

  6. Thanks for the added information please be patient while waiting for Staff to assist.

  7. Hi Paul,

Could you provide a screenshot of the stats, so I can see exactly what you see with this unauthorized blog?

    Thanks so much!

Here's a bit more information about how to take a screenshot:

  8. Thanks for the help
Here's a post with some screenshots.
(I just backdated it so it wouldn't come up on the homepage)

Let me know if you need any more info.

  9. Hi Paul,

So it looks like you were actually added as a user on that other blog, somehow. I've removed you from that blog, and if you refresh your cache, you should see that they are gone for you now.

    I hope that helps!

  10. Thank you. Problem solved.

As always, my experience with WordPress is full of win. :)

  11. I'm so glad to be able to help! :)
