The text you are referring to a "welcome message" that entices your readers to look around your blog. It also provides an RSS feed of your blog that your readers can use to be receive notifications of your latest blog posts via a Feed Reader.
I believe the "welcome message" comes along with your blog's theme (Motion). You cannot delete it unless you purchase the CSS Upgrade and tweak your blog theme's Cascading Style Sheet.
Oh yes i had changed it.
