Hey, I've tried embedding a soundcloud audio player successfully a handful of times on my blog, but more often than not it doesn't appear properly. sometimes the audio player is just a blank white box after i post. I'm not sure this is a problem on my end (though last time I tried it didn't work properly on my PC or my work computer) or if there are some settings I need to adjust somewhere. Does anyone know about this? thanks...

Can you give us a link to a post on your blog where you've tried to post it? Or paste the code that isn't working here between backticks so we can look at it.
Well I removed the post back to "draft" status until I figure it out.
I have no idea what backticks are, but the code is:

That doesn't work. Backticks are essential to make it display properly. They are the little apostrophe-like marks usually on the same key as the ~
So backtick, all the code, backtick.
I am having the very same problem. There is a white space where the player should appear, though it appeared initially and then once again. My post is in draft form too and I'm reluctant to go live with it if there's a problem. When I looked up "soundcloud" in forum search, there were a quite a few recent posts. Here is my code with backticks

Soundcloud as a whole appears to be offline to me at this moment, checking from Vancouver BC.

thank you, thank you, raincoaster for the info on where to find "backtick" key on keyboard and that soundcloud was down. Had no idea there was a "downforeveryoneorjustme" website!
Today soundcloud is up again and I was able to publish my post. This is the first time I've posted streaming audio on my blog, so this is all new for me.. I hope soundcloud proves to be reliable because it seems convenient and I like the way the widget looks on the post.
The backtick key, not to be condused with the singel quote mark key, is located on the key to the immediate left of the number 1 key. it's the same key as the tilde ~ only in lower case. That being said posting code here will not be helpful when and http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com says:
