Don't copy and paste directly from anything other than a plain text editor. It will always mess things up.
Use the "paste as plain text" icon on the lower toolbar on the visual editor. This will strip out all the code from gmail that is messing things up.

try this between the paragraphs , it should work , you can use more than 1 below each other
