Comments that would normally be filtered into my spam folder are somehow actually being published onto random past posts on my site. I have no idea what is going on and my community is getting annoyed with it. Is anyone else experiencing spam being published instead of going into the spam folder?
Any help would be appreciated.

This is happening to me as well. It just started about 24 hours ago. This has happened to me once before. I think Askimet (the spam filter) gets screwed up every once in a while, and that must be what's happening. Usually it gets resolved within about 48 hours (I hope). At least it did last time. I notified WordPress, but I don't know if they can do anything or not. I'm hoping they can or that it stops soon.
