It is possible to use <span> or<font>or<p>`in posts (luckily !) but not in comments : these html tags disappear after editing.
Is there any reason ?

I don't know for sure. Font I kind of doubt, but span and p probably. And you have to remember that all themes may be different in what they will allow in comments.
