   Hi,

   I am trying out the Titan theme, and I am running into issues.

   Earlier, I used Motion and loved the appearance of the Categories on the top header. I ended up with 2 rows all aligned neatly with each other. However, that is not the case with Titan.

   Since I love the other options in Titan, I thought I would add my pages to the top header, and add only 1 Category (Books) and its sub-categories on the top header (since mine is primarily a book blog).

   I tried using Category Id to exclude all other categories except books, but it does not seem to work at all.

   Any ideas how I could go about displaying ALL my pages and only ONE category (with 4 sub-categories on the header)?

   The blog I need help with is nishitak.wordpress.com.

   I just tried it in my test blog, and it works, so apparently you've done something incorrectly. Did you get the category id numbers? If so, did you click Save Changes after typing the numbers in the exclude box?

   I just used numbers to specify category Id according to the way it displays alphabetically when I add the Category widget in my sidebar as in

   1. Blogging and Social Networking
   2. Books and so on...

   Is there some other way to find out the category ID for a particular category? I only want the Books Category to display on my header.

   Can you please help?

   Dashboard sidebar > Posts > Categories: hover over name of category and look at the progress/status bar of your browser. The permalink you'll see there ends with ID=etc. That's the number you must use.
