Spectrum Theme - putting link in header image

Spectrum allows a custom header which I have put in. However, I can't figure out how to get it to link back to my homepage when you navigate away from it. There appears to be nowhere to add the link.
    Suggestions?
    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is sensorystorecanada.wordpress.com.

  2. I don't have an answer but I wonder if my question is similar. I would like to create page titles for other parts of my blog next to About. I was looking at SeattleStorefront
and they have a bunch of different pages. I'm new and need help.

  3. @yrekaart, since your question is not on topic, please start a new thread so as not to confuse this one. Thanks.

  4. On spectrum, the site title links back to the home page, but you have chosen not to have a site title, which from a SEO (search engine optimization) standpoint is a bad thing - search engines like to see a title for sites. What will happen is instead of a title showing up in search engines, all that will show up is the URL of your site, so you build no "branding" for the site. Search engines cannot read titles embedded in images.

There is a trick that can be used in some themes where you put a blank PNG image with no background color that is the exact size of the header image into a text widget and link that image to your home page, and then use inline CSS to move that text widget up and over the top of the header image.

Thanks @thesacredpath. I'll see if I can figure that out.
