I did a search on this and all I can find is talk about plugins. There is a spellchecker on the posting bar that shows the words that are mispelled and has a drop box that gives me choices to replace them. The problem is that it doesn't let me choose one of the new words. Also, when it is done I cannot type anything unless I save it and then choose edit. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

can't really give a proper answer to your q, but apparently the spellchecker isn't very good (like duh, you have a problem with it right now) probably because it's a recent addition. perhaps in the meantime use microsoft word? since i don't have broadband i always type my posts in word before posting it online...
