Hi,
I want to put to two or three separate galleries/slideshow onto one blog page. I have a wordpress.com blog and understand that I cannot have plugins. But is it still possible to split my photos in an image file into two separate viewing galleries/slideshows? I hope that made sense. Let me know. Many thanks.

You can split Galleries in a post, but this will not work for Slideshows. Slideshows display all images attached to the post.
The WP slideshows, that is. For two slideshows on the same post or page you need to insert 3rd-party slideshows. See here:
