Stacking Text Beside a Picture

  1. How do I stack "The Peplum" so that my title looks like...

    The
    Peplum

    Also, how can I code the CSS to allow to me to import a picture to place to the left of my newly stacked title?

    The blog I need help with is thepeplum.wordpress.com.

  2. With CSS only, I'd just make the container for the site title smaller to force the text to wrap. Here's an example:

    #site-title {
    	width: 160px;
    }

    Add that to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor and click the Preview button to see it working.

  3. Also, how can I code the CSS to allow to me to import a picture to place to the left of my newly stacked title?

    First, import the picture to your media library and grab the URL.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/media/media-add-new/

    Next, here is an example showing how to add a background image to the site title in the Origin theme:

    #site-title {
    	width: 160px;
    	height: 100px;
    	padding-left: 110px;
    	background: url('http://s.wordpress.org/about/images/wordpress-logo-notext-bg.png') -40px center no-repeat;
    }

    You'll want to replace the url() value with the link to the image you uploaded to your media library. Then adjust all of the numbers until the spacing looks good to you.
