Stalking and defamtion blog

    There is a stalking blog out there run by anonymous people who wish to stile free speech by posting the lies and half truth abut anyone you post in a public forum about their view on marriage.

    I realize the standard repose is to get court order to take it do. Doses anyone realize how expensive that is and how difficult it i to do that when the person who write the blog is anonymous.

    By allowing people to post the most vile of defamation under the guise of free speech actually stifles free speech. People are afraid of reprisal when the kind of pseudo information is post like this on an autonomous blog. Blogs like this result in harm to peoples business and people losing their jobs.

    Please *read* the who blog. Much of the information is wrong and defamatory. The people who hey are accusing to be criminals in fact are not.

    They *DON"T* help I have read them. There is no overt call to violence the retaliation aspect is suggested.

    Why is a blog that trashes a person life with lies and leave them open to lose their job allowed?

    This can't possibly be abut free speech becuase this blog stifles free speech People will be afraid to voice any opinion for fear of having their life trashed on this slaking blog.

    Please wordpress.com do the responsible thing.

    The only thing necessary for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing.

    Unless you contact the staff using one of the methods I gave you nothing will happen.

    Also posting links that can be clicked on give the offending blog more "Google Juice" since this forum is scanned constantly by search engines.

    Most of the people that help in the Forum are your fellow bloggers - the Staff at the links I gave you are the only ones that can deal with content that is offensive. It does not take a court order to take down many types of blogs -

    We are Volunteers who answer support questions. Scolding us is like scolding a bank teller rather than taking your issue up with the bank manager. If you have been defamed they take the legal action required and note this entry. Disputes: Defamation, Court Orders, Subpoenas, Privacy If you have feedback to proffer then make it to Staff please as this is not an issue that Volunteers can deal with.

    I have done that, they told me I had to get a court order. There doesn't seem to anyway to talk to a human about this kind of stalking. Do you understand the *COST* of filing a lawsuit? I am sure if a *human* looked at that blog they can see the severe intimation factor involved. How do I get someone at wordpress.com to actually *look* at that blog and *not* give me a canned response!

    Yes I do understand the cost involved as I'm a paralegal. The bottom line here is we Volunteers cannot help you and Staff have replied to you.

    By posting it in the forum, you have ensured that thousands of people can read that blog now. I'm sure that was not your intention.
