   Hey, please help.
   Im asking a questions about whether the stat counter is calculated in hits or visits?
   On my blog itself it says 98,689 hits, but on the blog stats page it says Total Views: 98,689

   So is it actually counting hits or visitors to the page?

   Hi,

   It's really counting page views. Hits and Visits are used loosely here.

   I guess it shows the number of pages viewed, no matter how many unique visitors you had...

   Correct. If you want more precise stats than that you can also get an additional statcounter or a sitemeter free for your blog off the web.
