there is no such HTML symbol told by Google to insert the snippet into the wordpress website! Put snippet now at the end of website = no function. The German ""support"" of Adwords is extremely poor, anyway. We pay 10.000s $ for Adwords, but no help AT ALL.

The instructions for installing GA is for a default installation within a web page.
To install GA within wordpress, I suggest using a free plugin from wordpress.org for this purpose
other wise you are going to have to edit theme files in order to place it correctly within the wordpress theme
each time you change your theme

Once correctly installed it will take 24-48hrs for data to start showing in your reports

where to get a ""plugin"" from and which snippet to introduce where? introducing anything from ga into wp or vice versa????? the ga snippet code into the wp-website does not work coz there is no such html-symbol. Google analytics say to do exactly this, however.-- this all is extremely user-hostile i must say. no-one explains in clear speech what to do.--wp statistics are catastrophic, i cannot see who from where stays how long on which page, and we get 1.000s clicks.
