Stats Error

  1. Hi,

    I noticed that a couple of my sites were showing no traffic but when I installed the new version of Monster Mage, for these sites I got this message "Stats not available - check the site is listed in your wordpress.com dashboard, and that wordpress.com has gathered stats for the site".

    For another web site this happened to, I completely deleted and recreated the site, and it is now showing stats. I have created another new blog today and I'm getting this message for new sites as well now.

    Can you please advise me what I need to do. I contacted Mage and they say this is a WordPress issue.

  2. Are you using the WordPress.com Stats plugin or Jetpack?

  3. Hi, I'm using the automated wordpress.com stats plugin. For all my earlier sites built they are reporting fine but it's my new ones that I've built that are not showing stats. I have tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin but that hasn't worked and I'm not technical enough to find out what the problem is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  5. Note that our new Jetpack plugin has a better stats feature built into it then the WordPress.com Stats plugin, and it doesn't require an API key.

    If you use Jetpack you will want to remove the old WordPress.com Stats plugin entirely, and activate the Stats module with Jetpack (under Jetpack in the menu).

  6. Hi,

    I have installed the new Jetpack but it is still not helping. I think the issue is deeper than that. When I go into WordPress and view the stats from there, or via the Dashboard, the error message when I click stats says "No stats are available for this time period". All the values are 0, but the best bit is that my busiest day with 0 clicks is January 1, 1970.

    I have even tried deleting sites and re-building them but to no avail.

  7. Please try changing your timezone in the Settings section of your Dashboard to anything but what it currently is, then set it back.
