Hi,
I have recently added a new post and, although I have been getting notifications that people have liked it, my stats counter still shows zero.
I have been looking for a solution, and have read that I need to edit a file called 'footer.php' - I have no idea where to find this or how to edit it, any info would be appreciated, thanks!
The blog I need help with is lifeofanamateurgraduate.wordpress.com.
You don't need to edit anything and infact you can't edit footer.php on any blogs hosted at wordpress.com.
There is always a time lag between stats updating and display presented to you on your page.

Which visitor counter are you referring to?

Ahh thank you for your replies, I must have been looking at the wordpress.org help. I'm looking at the main stats page on the dashboard, not the widget, and I didn't realise about the time lag. I've checked it this morning and it has updated somewhat, but the time on my dashboard is wrong, which may have something to do with it? I'll update that and see if there is any progress, thanks for your help.
Actually I've just checked my 'referrers' and my stats from yesterday were all from links from this page...yet I've had 'likes' on my recent post before posting on here that haven't registered as stats! Any further help with this would be appreciated.
