STATS soon to be made harder to get , WHY ??

    This attempt by WordPress to break something that is OK happened in the past but now they are up to it again : WordPress is FORCING us to do the following in order to get our Stats :

    a) turn on Scripting which even their own IT people Know it is not safe !! SO , Why do you ask US to do it ??

    b) now we must go to the Front Page to get our Stats ! Shouldn't this Visit be by MERIT ?? WHY should I visit the WP front page that to me is just immature Fluff and that I try not to waste my time with ? For their commercial gains ? Ok , but at least don't force us to lower the pants on our computer security by turning on Scripting , I do Not trust you WP , never did , never will , I Judge you by your Front Page and you Fail every time .

    WP , please drop this harassement about Stat and return to how it was before , no Scripting .
    Everibody e-mail to Wp and add your support here please , don't forget , those people make their gains of OUR Creativity !!

    There's no such thing as scripting on WordPress.Com blogs, so either you're talking about something else or you've been smoking something not entirely legal.

    WordPress.com is using a HTML 5 element called "canvas" to do that stats frame.
    HTML 5 canvas uses Javascript this is why you would have to turn javascript on.

    there are tons of youtube videos using HTML 5, the old stats element used flv. I'll bet you'll find out that HTML5 canvas is safer.

    for clarification, since this is a tech forum, scripting is any programing that could include macros and any language not just javascript.

    a solution, that would by pass the worpress.com front page might be to goto your statistics page and bookmark it with your browser.

    A : by all means tell me what you , an educated person , did not understand in my original Post . Let me start by pointing to you that I did not post a Question , it is a Protest . So far you need to revise your 'comprehention' class . BTW , I lost my spell-checker , sorry .

    2. Thumbs down for those who don't know how/where to use the ''Code'' tag.

    A : By all means show me . Are you refering to the weird text formating in my previous reply ? If that's the case , no worries , it wasn't intentional , my computer is attacked daily and on ocassion it affects the text formating . Now , an educated person May be able to Tell that my post wasn't screwed intentionally ... the hint is the French accent over that ' e ' , a sign of keyboard malware . You didn't noticed that ?! No .

    3. Thumbs down for those who start a thread on a topic which has been discussed 4 months ago.

    A : I didn't know . But is Still a Good one , because as you addmit , eventhough this subject was discussed before it didn't have any impact on WP decission making , we were ignored , and they will make it more difficult for us to get the stats . Looks like WP needs more 'clicks' and they lowered themselfs to Force us .... Great example , no ? So , WHY does it bother you if the subject came back ( even though I wasn't aware it was discussed before ) ? You can't see the fine point in the WP action ?

    4. Thumbs down for those who still claim to be educate

    Reply : my computer was hacked and I didn't have the choice of Edit .

    However , it is honest of you to say that Text Formating affects your choice of readings , yet be careful , it is very close of saying that you judge a book by its font , format , cover , etc .

    Are you ready to sack the Constitution if the font , color , format is innapropriate to you ? Just confirming , thanks .

    BTW , my spell-checker is down too ... but I leave it like that to give some ammunition to selected people :)

    A : I trust you , you must know .... what's 'porn' ? And , in your educated oppinion , this is why the FBI had their computers hacked a while ago ?

    A : Are you familiar with Nothingness ? Are you familiar with Somethingness , whatever that may be ( from water to money and so on ) ? That easy , the point of the statement is that one exists ( Guess which one , test yourself ) and the other does not exist ( again , test your self by guessing which one ) .

    Here , ( spell checker off , I feel lucky ) , a Test for the educated Information Technologists ( ITs ) that would take a look at my previous post above where the Text Formating is way off recognized by the French accent on ONLY ONE e , plus the following Hint : many times when I sign in and type the andin the e-mail address it comes out like this : " .

    Just as I type Right Now in this WordPress custom window my keyboard is affected , here , I type the question mark: É ...

    On top of all this the background of my UPNtheory site is changing every day from white to dark blue regrdless of the local or UTC time !!

    And at last , right now I can not retrieve my Stats anylonger , the space is empty even though it shows the Stats Headliner and the date ...

    Conclusion : JUST HOW SAFE OF HACKERS IS WordPress ÉÉÉÉÉ ( hacked Question Marks !!! as PROOF ) .

    AND WordPress WANTS US TO FURTHER LOWER OUR SECURITY BY ENABLING SCRIPTING to retrieve our Stats !!!
    WP , GET REAL !!

    I am Full of Confidence now to lower the Security Pants on my computer and Enable Scripting to retrieve the stats as WordPress Demands and is Forcing us to do now !! INSPIRING !!!!
