STATS soon to be made harder to get , WHY ??

    "cough" , don't forget , the topic of my thread is Why WordPress wants us to turn on Scripting to get our Stats when it knows :

    1) it is a Security Risk
    2) it used to work OK including the country Flags without enabling Scripting

    ... so Why make it more difficult for the Blogers , i.e. the people that are the Backbone of WordPress.com ?! To annoy us and provide incentives to move our blogs elsewhere ??
