   I am sorry, I am sure this domain thing is explained well below, but I need help understanding it. My professor wants me to go to HostMonster for $92/year and purchase something there so that I can use my Go Daddy registered name and said I would HAVE to upgrade to WP .org, but I am not sure I am ready for .org. Is there a way I can go to this HostMonster then come back here to wp.com and have a website name without the wordpress.com after it?

   The blog I need help with is reachwithwords.wordpress.com.

   You can map a custom domain to your blog here - $ 13.-- / year for mapping and $ 5 or $ 6 / year for domain name registration
