I cant remove my domain from redirecting to wordpress.com.

I had a blog on bluehost. and then I set up a blog on wordpress and setup the domain to just load the wordpress.com site.
When I found out wordpress.com couldn't accomplish what I wanted, i tried to change it back, but nothing works. the domain still loads my wordpress page url (and I even deleted the blog entirely)
    Blog url:

  2. Hi there,
Please post the URL here and Staff will remove the domain mapping when they enter this thread.

  3. Hold it! Ignore what I said above.

Did you repoint the nameservers yet? If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers.

  4. You're going to need staff help. If you delete the blog BEFORE changing the nameservers, you're screwed and I believe only staff can fix it.

  8. http://www.derekandstephanie.com/ is definitely pointing to your blog on Bluehost.

When a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, you may also receive a warning message in your browser about "redirect errors". Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your internet service provider updates their records. Please rest assured that everything is proceeding normally with your domain.
