   Whenever I copy and paste a soundcloud embed code, the code gets shortened thus removing important info for Hype Machine to pick up. This has been going on for a week now, and is effecting my blog as most traffic is directed from The Hype Machine.
   There isn't much point me posting up new music sent to me if the bots crawling my blog cant read the info from an mp3 file, because it's now being automatically shortened.

   I have tried all the ways suggested by W.P and now they are ignoring the issue. I need the code to remain intact.

   The blog I need help with is skipschips.wordpress.com.

   If you absolutely require all of that to remain intact, you will have to get an independent host and move off WordPress.com. It's as simple as that.

   But why the change for?
   It's been fine since May, now it isn't!!

   Do you literally mean to say that the code hasn't been shortened at all previously?

   They made a lot of changes in May, I can tell you that. I can't tell you why.

   Only very recently.
   When I swap from visual and html, the code shortens. If I publish post whilst still in HTML the code shortens.

   It's fine with direct links, but not with Soundcloud code anymore. There is nothing I do that stops it!!
